Use your talent not your body – Blakofe blasts Kaakie
Dancehall artiste Kaakie has come under strong attack after wearing just a brazier, pink leggings and a wig manufactured by Shasha Wigs, a local manufacturing wig shop for a photoshoot.
The alumna of the University of Ghana who put her beautiful body on display did not get it easy when media personality Blakofe known in real life as Oheneba Akua Manfo saw the picture on Zionfelix.net‘s Instagram page.Blakofe after chancing on the image questioned if the “Too Much” hitmaker was “coming out with a range of underwear and leggings”.
When Zionfelix.net answered “I doubt”, she went head to speak against the decision of the songstress to promote her body instead of her talent.According to Blakofe who sounded disappointed in Kaakie, entertainers of yesterday like herself had their clothes on but were still influential in society so she cannot fathom why female stars of today mostly want to showcase their body to stay relevant in the industry. She then advised Kaakie to use her talent to be germane in the game but not putting her gorgeous body on display.
“@zionfelixotcom so these days instead of our female singers doing music and actresses acting they’re promoting their bodies? Gosh…when we started in the industry, guess what? We worked with our clothes on. #SoNotImpressed by these young ones these days. #UseYourTalentNotYourBody” Blakofe told Zionfelix.net on instagram.Blakofe is a TV/Radio Presenter, a producer, an events organiser, an MC, an actress, a choreographer and dancer.
For many years she has hosted programs such GoldBlast, Amazing Ghana and Studio 53 where she had the wonderful opportunity to share Ghanaian cuisine, music, art, tourist sites etc. with an international audience.

Ghana Dacehall Artist Shatta Wale visits President Akufo-Addo at Flasgstaff House
On Tuesday, October 17, President Nana
Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo set social media
ablaze when he sent a tweet wishing
dancehall artiste Shatta Wale happy
birthday.
What made that tweet unique was that the
President addressed the dancehall artiste
in pidgin.
It started as a simple request from the
dancehall artiste Shatta Wale on Twitter on
October 13 to President Akufo-Addo. He
asked the President, “Your Excellency,
Tuesday is my birthday ..what are you
giving me .. @NAkufoAddo ”
When Shatta Wale, born Charles Nii Armah
Mensah Jnr. on October 17, 1984, turned
33, he received a rather exciting message
from the President.
President Akufo-Addo wished the ‘Taking
Over’ hit singer “Happy birthday @
shattawalegh !”
Shatta Wale would have been satisfied with
the fact that the President recognized him
on his birthday but the First Gentleman was
not done yet.
Taking things a notch higher and in pidgin,
the President added that, “You for come
visit me for Flagstaff House o!”
"Shatta Wale thanked the President for the
birthday message and noted that he will
pay him a visit soon. “Thank you, your
Excellency. I will follow the necessary
procedures and pay a visit soon Mr
President. I hope my land cruiser will be
ready.”
On Wednesday, November 01, Shatta Wale
paid a courtesy call on the president at the
Flagstaff House.
During the interactions, Shatta Wale
presented the President with the keys to
the City of Worcester, Massachusetts which
he received in July this year while on a tour
in the United States.
President Akufo-Addo also presented the
Dancehall artiste with a gift of Ghana’s Coat
of Arms.
